Colette

Account Administrator

“I was employed by Western Financial in October 2008 as a Plan Administrator which is a diverse role involving the management of a portfolio of clients and end to end processing. I am also trained as an insurance officer, and a portion of my day is always spent on insurance, which helps keep my skills up to date.

I am currently a workplace mentor within the administration team who supports and assists other team members, and I have been responsible for training new staff since February 2010, which is an area that I am very passionate.

WALGSP also offers a flexible work/life policy, which has really made a difference to my quality of life. WALGSP has been wonderful in allowing me to change my working hours, which means that I can pick up my son from school two days per week. This not only gives me more time with my family, but I can also maintain full time working hours, which would have been impossible otherwise.“

Workplace Diversity

At Western Financial we recognise the importance of promoting and fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace. We are committed to achieving this by creating an inclusive work environment within our business, free from discrimination, where our employees are valued for their diverse culture, experiences, knowledge and abilities.

This is supported by our Code of Conduct policy which addresses, equal opportunity, anti-sexual harassment, and anti-bullying as well as our Grievance policy.

We believe that diversity enriches our performance and customer service, the communities in which we live and work, and the lives of our employees.
